Hey There, Mama-Friend!
Welcome to Generation on a Mission, where we're on mission to help you find success in your parenting by giving you all the proactive tips you need to help your toddler through those tough moments and learn how to communicate with, understand and cultivate a relationship with your toddler! More importantly, we are here to give you the tools you need to teach your kids to be the salt and light of the world (Matthew 5:14). It's our goal to help you lead your kids in becoming difference-makers, world-changers and leaders of tomorrow!
The vision of Generation on a Mission came from two things: My experiences in the classroom, and my desire and passion to make sure I'm doing everything I can to raise kids who stand out, kids who are driven to make the world a better place, and kids are motivated simply be doing the right thing and not by extrinsic motivation, kids who know they are loved by God and were designed purposefully and wonderfully by God, who gave them the gifts they need to be change-makers.
It was originally in the classroom where I saw a need to help parents understand the essential role they play in developing their toddlers to become kindergarten ready, but I came to the realization that perhaps, they just didn't know how to accomplish that. They wanted to help their kids be successful, but they didn't know where to start. It then became my mission to help parents equip their toddlers with the basic fundamentals to help their kids thrive once they reached school age. This need didn't just stop with ABC's and 123's; it extended to helping parents understand the importance of teaching their kids how to communicate, relate to others, and spread kindness to others, as opposed to not knowing any better when they make mistakes.
This mission didn't just stop with "getting the kids to learn and do the right thing." It evolved into helping parents see how important their actions are when communicating with and disciplining their toddlers. It transpired into helping parents see that parenting can be more than just yelling AT their kids. The mission then developed into teaching parents how to reflect on their parenting, how to get to know their kids, and using that to transform their discipline and provide a successful, supportive environment to help their kids thrive, all while helping them learn and doing the right thing.
The best part is... it's a lot easier than you think! And you're in the right place for ALL. OF. IT!
As a member of the mom squad, you are part of a wonderful community... A group of moms (or maybe dads, grandparents, or even aunts and uncles), who are passionate about raising world-changers who thrive and know their impact and importance in the world. We are passionate about constantly reflecting on our parenting and understand that parenting is a long game that doesn't have a 'quick fix' button. We are here to share ideas and provide encouragement as we trek through this parenting journey together! We are here to share successes and growth of our little world changers.
If you have questions, I'm here for it! If you have successes, I want to hear about them! You all are inspiring, and that deserves to be shared and celebrated!
